What are the times/dates for Recess?

Check in each day is from 7:15-7:45 AM, and check out is from 5:15-5:45 PM.

We have registration open through December, and we have a calendar of holidays in our parent pack available at crowderscamps.com.

How will Crowders help my child with distance learning? Can you accommodate online classes/zoom calls?

During registration, you will be asked to provide a brief online learning profile for your camper, including how many hours he or she should spend on homework, and any online calls or classes. This will help us have a baseline for your camper’s learning needs, but you can give us updated information at any time.

At check in every day, we encourage you to give our staff a list of homework assignments your child should complete during study halls that day. Let us know of any calls, classes, or changes to your child’s typical schedule, and we will work our schedule around those needs.

We have multiple sessions of assisted study hall each day, with our staff members ready to help your child with their homework and questions. We also have study hall monitors available throughout the day for any specially scheduled zoom calls or online class times your camper needs to attend.

Will there be spiritual content involved with Recess?

Each day we include worship and a brief devotional into our day. We believe God’s Word changes lives, and our mission as a camp is to ignite sparks of life change in every camper who attends.
