We’re excited to offer affordable day programming for select weeks during the summer.[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]At Outdoor University (OU for short) your child will learn about the outdoors and how to work as a team with other children. There will also be Bible lessons for each child to help in their spiritual formation at a young age. We’ll have games to play, specific lessons to teach, and activities that will engage. Additionally, each child will get to experience our camp attractions, including:
- A full-service waterfront
- The Leap of Faith adventure activity
- The Giant Swing
- Teambuilding activities
- And our downtown sports like basketball, volleyball, and gaga ball

This is a day camp. Drop off time is at 8AM and pickup is at 6PM. For those considering an overnight option, they can register for our Kids Camp here.
What age is this program built for?
This program is built for those who have completed the 2nd grade through those who have completed the 5th grade.
How will my child spend the day?
Our sample schedule is coming soon.
How much does it cost?
$199. This does not include packed lunches for the day.
What about food allergies?
Allergies should be listed on the medical form required for registration. Additionally, please fill out the form located at allergies.crowdersridge.com to notify our kitchen staff.
What time is pick up and drop off?
Drop off is at 8:00 – 8:30AM and pick up is at 5:30 – 6:00PM.
What does my child need to bring?
You can view a complete packing list in our parent guide, which is coming soon. This will be emailed to you upon registration.
Who are your counselors and staff?
Our counselors are lead by college-aged students with experience in children’s camp programming. This team is lead by Crowders Ridge staff. All of our counselors and staff have passed a federal background check, are trained in child sexual abuse prevention and are highly recommended by multiple references.
Do you have lifeguards?
Yes, we have American Red Cross-certified lifeguards for our waterfront and pool areas.
Is this a religiously-based camp?
Yes. We are a Christian camp and will be sharing Bible messages with your child. If you have any questions about our theology or topics of discussion, submit a question below.
Do you provide meals?
Meals are not included in the registration fee. We ask parents to provide a bag lunch for their child and eat breakfast before arrival. If you are not able to, you must pay $6 per lunch for your child at our camp dining hall. Refrigeration/coolers will be provided. We will provide snacks in the afternoon each day.
What forms do I need to fill out before I arrive?
A medical and participant form must be filled out upon arrival. Additionally, any child that wants to do our Leap of Faith or Giant Swing activity must have a waiver signed specifically for that adventure.
