Experience the Crowders Chutes.
The Crowders Chutes is a fun winter experience for the whole family – all for a good cause. We’ve created an experience just like snow tubing, but without the mess or chills of fake snow. Our tubing emulates that of real snow tubing lanes, but using a completely dry surface. We’ve created this experience to raise money for our camp – simply put, this is our annual fundraiser. We couldn’t do what we do all year long without the generous support of the entire community.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
Each ticket costs $13 per person, plus an additional credit card processing fee. The credit card processing fee is charged through a third party service and is not controlled by us.
Do I have to purchase a ticket in advance?
Tickets are required to be purchased in advance. We only sell tickets on site if we have open spots in a session. Our sessions do frequently sell out, so it is important to get your ticket well in advance. If someone arrives without a ticket and we are sold out for that session, they will unfortunately not be able to tube with us.
Do I have to have a ticket to watch?
No! Spectators are free to come without a ticket. You only need a ticket if you plan on going down the Chutes at any point.
How old does my child have to be?
We don’t have a specific age requirement, we just ask that the parent uses their best discretion. For small toddlers and infants, parents should accompany their child down the Chutes, either with them in the same tube or in a train, with two separate tubes connected.
Do you have a special group rate?
Unfortunately, no. We do not have a special rate for groups. If you would like to purchase tickets in bulk, you can contact our office at (704) 915-1096 and we will see if we can accommodate the request.
What about rain/inclement weather?
We try our best to watch the weather closely during this season. We do not make the decision to close due to rain until the day of the session. If the session is cancelled, participants will be emailed. In the email, participants will receive instructions for how to move their ticket to another day that the Chutes is operating. Refunds are not given in case of rain.
Can I book a birthday party at the Chutes?
Yes! Just give our office a call at (704) 915-1096 and we’ll set that up for you.
Where are you located?
This year, the Chutes will be held at Crowders Ridge, which is right next to the Linwood Access Point of Crowders Mountain. Our address is 130 Camp Rotary Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
